Silvaze: All That Remains chapter 1

Chapter 1

Blaze stumbled out onto the broken streets. everything was destroyed or gone. the shop that tails and marine had opened up, the ice cream shop, the neighborhood everything! anything she had cared for was gone. broken, burnt, and gone. she had been shoved into the bunker by silver when it all started to happen; strange reports of something fast destroying everything, making sure no one got away. silver had promised her that he would follow her but he locked her in and left her alone. she had screamed at the door for maybe an hour begging him to come back, to come be safe but she hadn't gotten an answer. she was locked in the bunker for a total of 5 days till the door finally budged. now she couldn't see anyone. now that she had finally gotten out she was  terrified what had happened. but even with everything that she was seeing, she had to find her friends… especially silver! she headed right across the street to the shop and called out as she opened what remained of the door but was stopped in her tracks. the inside of the shop was a disaster. the shelves were all knocked over, most of the roof was caved in , and worst of all there was a huge splat of blood on the wall. blaze felt sick seeing it, but when she heard a moan coming from the back she forced her way thru to the office door, which had a bunch of fallen scrap in front of it. once she cleared the way she slammed the door open and the sight she saw was so awful that she collapsed to her knees. her friend, and companion of the seas, marine was there on the floor butchered but breathing. blaze dragged herself to marine and moved marine’s head very gently so that she could see her. marine’s eyes showed a flash of recognition and she showed a small smile
“Blaze…” she whispered “i told ‘em….I told….’em that you would be fine…” she had a quick fit of hacking blood leaking from her mouth. blaze picked up a cloth and wiped it clean
“Ma-Marine W-Who did this to you?!” blaze sobbed out. marine lifted her left arm to take blaze’s hand
“C-C-Come on now….blaze thats…..not the…...princess i…..kn-know… Your the….. bravest….. person i know…..” blaze wiped her eyes and nodded her head, trying to be strong. marine’s smile came back as she saw this but hacked again more blood coming out of her. her eyes began to get a far away look as she looked at the ceiling
“T-They are calling me blaze…...I-I-I don't want…...to leave…..yet” she squeezed  blaze’s hand tight as blaze watched her die.
“please….” Marine gasped out “K-K-Kill him….. Before……..he….kills...you…” and with that the captain that was so full of her self breathed her last breath and died in blaze’s hands.
